Ageing Red Stag

Here is a picture of a Red Stag I put up on our social media askig the question is he old enough to harvest? Well, I took this picture a couple years ago and we did not harvest him that season, I aged him at 5-6 years old and as you can see he is in very good condition and would have been a nice stag to harvest but by leaving him and extra year he went from being around 400-420 SCI to scoring 465 SCI when we harvested him. Definatley worth letting him walk and add to the gene pool for an extra year!
